Giving Opportunities

St. Bellarmine School provides an incredibly strong academic and spiritual foundation for students. The lives of our alumni and the continuing relationships they have with the school, the parish, faculty, and classmates are proof positive of that. As an SRB Alumni, you can make a difference for current students as well as the future of the school. Alumni giving benefits both programs and students. Opportunities for giving include:

The SRB "Preserve & Progress" Capital Campaign
Our parish is currently raising funds through the Preserve & Progress capital campaign. These funds will go toward much-needed major repairs to our parish buildings, beginning with repairs to the school in the summer of 2009. Our goal is to to raise approximately $700,000 over the next three years in order to maintain the significant investment that parishioners past and present have made in our church and our school. Direct Gifts
These are general gifts which support the school, its programs, and students. Donors who are interested in supporting a specific program or initiative can discuss that with the Principal or Pastor.

Corporate and/or individual sponsorship
These gifts can include sponsorship of a school event or underwriting a project such as campus improvements, among other things. Depending on the donor's wishes, it could even include sponsorship of a specific project or program, such as making a gift to expand foreign language instruction or other classroom experiences.

Bellarmine Grant Tuition Assistance Program
This need-based program helps SRB parishioners who are experiencing financial hardship continue providing a high quality Catholic education to their child/children. Families who are interested in this aid have to apply using a PSAS Student Aid Form, then aid is awarded to those who demonstrate the greatest need. Assistance varies from year to year, based on available funds.

Estate Planning/Planned Giving/Gifts of Stock
There are many ways of making a planned gift, and even some potential tax benefits to making gifts of stock. Please call or email our office so that we can be of help.

Memorials and Honorariums
Memorial gifts can be made in memory or in honor of someone, for example, to pay tribute to a loved one who has passed away. Honorariums are a meaningful way to recognize a dear friend, colleague, or loved one on an anniversary, birthday or other special occasion.
